A rarely seen white NASA watchband, this one appears to have been only worn during Apollo 12 lunar training at Kennedy Space Center in 1969.
The NASA archive image shows a watchband definitively made from Astro-Velcro® as can been seen from the characteristic tan colored Telfon woven loops used in the specialist non-flammable Velcro used on all Apollo missions. However the width has been narrowed from the stock 1" width to 3/4" to allow passing through the Omega Speedmaster springbars, therefore no Armalon keepers are required. Another view shows it with an 1 inch D-ring.
In these respects it is similar to the other Apollo lunar training -207/-208 configuration watchband also sold here. It seems that informal prototyping of a fire-proof watchband wasn't always captured in the watchband design drawing SEB12100030.
This NASA strap is a simpler design to other white NASA watchbands. The shortened version captures the spirit of Apollo flight crew personal equipment and is a uniquely designed comfortable strap, deserving of a place alongside all our other accurate and authentically made NASA watchbands
- Three sizes available (SMALL, MEDIUM and LONG) with part numbers SEB12100030-209, -210 and -202 respectively.

- The hook end has a fold that catches on the steel ring should the fastener arrangement open inadvertently.
- The reverse is coated with white polyurethane to simulate the originally applied Flourel® elastomer backing.
